Home Study crisis averted!
I called Sam's clinic today and the Sgt that answered the phone was super helpful! Not only did she confirm all his labs were back but that she would fill them in for me tomorrow and have a doctor sign it! Originally we were told it couldn't be done this way....note to self, play the "adoption card" and you will receive! LOL Back on track ;)

Home Study VENT!
This is a small VENT! So, the only thing we are waiting on for our Home Study to be complete is our physicals to be finished. The labs are not back yet and I'm scared Sam's labs will be in "limbo" since all the flight docs are deploying with him. They won't allow me to pick them up!!! I DO NOT understand why but they won't. I only have 3 different power of a attorneys... 0_o So....we will have to wait until Sam gets settled overseas and has his flight doc hunt them down. Only to snail mail them back to me and pray nothing happens to them in the process. This should have been a done deal. I guess not :(
VENT OVER---
I keep trying to tell myself, this brief break in plans could be the difference between Sam being able to go with me to China and me having to go by myself or with someone else. Bigger picture, Stacie. bigger picture! LOL

The Red Tie That Binds...
Am I someone who blogs?
Apparently I am now! :) After a bit of technical help from lovely, smart friends I am up and running. I wanted to have the opportunity to share my story and adoption journey. I feel as if I'm so far behind. The paper chase has just began but the feelings and spiritual nudges (well, shoves) have been going on for a while. And if I don't write about them, I WILL forget.
As for my blog name "The Red Tie That Binds", (thanks to friends information on the subject) it is a Chinese belief that people who are destined to meet each other are tied together with an invisible red thread.
